DISASTER  RECOVERY  ALLIANCE

Our mission is to support communities in rebuilding and recovery by connecting residents with vetted businesses that prioritize integrity and transparency. We are committed to ensuring that our vendors have the best intentions and do not engage in deceptive practices.

In organizing our expos, we collaborate with a diverse range of professionals, including contractors, public adjusters, law firms, tree removal companies, and more. Additionally, we invite state and federal disaster agencies to provide essential assistance to residents during their recovery process.

Since our inception in 2017, we have traveled extensively to aid thousands of residents in the aftermath of hurricanes, helping them navigate the challenges of rebuilding their lives and communities. We are dedicated to making a positive impact and fostering trust within the communities we serve.

Fun Fact

1. **Background Checks**: We conduct thorough background checks on both the company and its owner to ensure integrity and reliability.

2. **Fraud Policy**: Any business with contractor fraud charges will be automatically disqualified from participating in the expo and from being included on our vetted vendor list.

3. **Monthly Reverification**: We perform monthly reverification of our vetted vendor list to maintain the highest standards of quality and trustworthiness.

4. **Convenient Events**: We organize events that bring together vetted businesses and local and state agencies, providing homeowners with a one-stop solution for all their rebuilding needs. This approach enhances convenience and accessibility for residents seeking assistance.

How much is the vendor fee?

While our expos give homeowners FREE admission, we do require vendors interested in showcasing their products or services at the expo to pay a non-refundable booth fee of $500.00.
Why do we charge a vendor fee?

We implement a vendor fee to ensure that businesses contributing to our expos are held accountable for giving back to the communities they serve. In the aftermath of a major hurricane, it is common for many businesses to enter affected areas, generate significant profits, and yet fail to reinvest in the local community.

By charging a vendor fee, we create a framework that encourages these companies to contribute a portion of their proceeds directly to residents who have experienced loss. This approach allows us to facilitate support for those in need without the complications often associated with bureaucratic processes. Our goal is to streamline the process of giving back, ensuring that assistance reaches residents efficiently and effectively.
